Delta Protekt (+) en ProtektSeal (+)

Introduction

The basis of Delta Protekt (+) and ProtektSeal is KL100, a product based on zinc coatings. Zinc ensures the cathodic protection of the substrate. The risk of hydrogen embrittlement is completely ruled out since hydrogen does not occur anywhere in the process.

VH300 or Delta Seal can be applied on top of the layer or layers of KL100. VH300 provides for a considerable increase in the corrosion resistance with minimum thickness and also ensures a decrease in the friction resistance. Delta Seal increases chemical resistance and is available in different colours.

Typical applications

Delta Protekt is an ideal coating for parts that require very high corrosion resistance or for high-quality steels in order to exclude the risk of hydrogen embrittlement.

ProtektSeal combines similar properties with the added possibility of producing the final layer in different colours. Different colours help to prevent the incorrect use of parts. Parts with minimum differences are so unequivocally distinguishable that incorrect use becomes impossible. For example, bolts with slightly differing length or diameter.

Furthermore, the coatings offer an extreme corrosion resistance with restricted thicknesses, making them a superior alternative to thermal galvanising and a cheap alternative to stainless steel.
